Bridge

Have now completed my laser cut bridge except for painting and etch fencing for the bridge sides.

Mk3

Finally have some mk3 coaches including buffet for my two swallow livery HST 125.

Station platforms

Completed assembly of station platforms.

I have taken photos of the model to match photos of the prototype.

Laser cutting station

I have drawn my station platforms using Corel Draw in order to get the parts laser cut. Black lines are cut lines and red and green lines are etch lines.

 

The parts were laser cut for me by York Modelmaking and I received these today.

 

Signs

Have been drawing signs using Corel Draw.

These have then been printed for me by Trackside Signs. The signs are printed on self adhesive vinyl and die cut so are easy to peel off. The signs are all printed to scale, the Swinton sign has also been printed almost full size and will be mounted above the layout.

F20 turnout

Just finshed building my first ever turnout. It is an F20 turnout using flat bottom rail soldered to PCB sleepers.

Baseboards and track

Class 60 locomotive, Templot turnout plans and two lengths of track put the size of baseboards in perspective.
